In 1965 Bozzoli Giacomo began
his business in Brozzo with a 1000kg coal furnace.
A few years later his brother joined the business. Work increased
and the two owners decided to expand the furnace and the plant,
employing more workers.
In 1980 they built their
own, first 2000kg oil-fired furnace.
In 1985 a new plant and a new oven were built.
Several years later Giacomo's two sons, now the owners, also
joined the company.
The turning point in company history was in
1990 with the acquisition of an 18,000-square-metre
area in Marcheno industrial district, with a 3,000- square-metre
This acquisition was then developed to today's dimensions
of 11,000 square metres, 3 furnaces and 2 outdoor stores.
In 2001, additional technical and economic
efforts allowed the acquisition of a significant market segment
thanks to new investments introducing the business to the
field of special alloys: brass, bronze with aluminum, and
brass with manganese. Adapting itself to the requirements
for space and facilities, the company purchased other enclosed
areas built later, bringing the business area to 30,000 sq.m.,
of which 13,000 sq.m. are covered.
